Optional fixed landing gear with a steerable nosewheel enables smooth taxiing, takeoffs, and landings on paved surfaces, while removing the gear unlocks higher speed and improved vertical performance for grass-field operations. The E-flite® SR-71 Blackbird Twin 40mm EDF arrives mostly pre-assembled and includes a factory-installed control unit with a Spektrum™ receiver featuring AS3X® and optional SAFE® Select technologies. It binds easily to any 5+ channel DSMX®/DSM2® transmitter, and when paired with compatible Spektrum radios using AirWare™ software, provides real-time telemetry such as battery voltage, current draw, and more—using both Smart and non-Smart batteries.
Twin 40mm EDF units powered by brushless outrunner motors work efficiently with common 4S 2200mAh 30+C LiPo batteries, delivering an excellent balance of performance and flight duration. The fully molded EPO airframe includes detailed panel lines and scale surface features, reinforced fuselage chines, and composite strengthening throughout the nose and structure to ensure durability without excessive weight. A rubberized nose cone with pitot tube and snap-in vertical fins—plus an additional set of optional high-visibility red fins—allow easy installation and replacement.
The fixed landing gear, complete with a steerable nosewheel and scale-style tires that replicate the aluminum-infused tires of the full-scale aircraft, supports realistic ground handling. For higher performance, the gear can be removed, allowing pilots to use molded finger grips and the automatic Hand Launch Assist Mode for easy launches and grass landings. Eligibility for Returns / Replacement
- Returns are accepted only for products that are damaged during shipping or have a manufacturing defect.
- To be eligible, customers must provide a detailed unboxing video that clearly shows:
The entire unboxing process in a single continuous video (no cuts or edits).
The product damage or defect visible within the same video. - Requests without a valid unboxing video will not be eligible for return or replacement, as this helps us verify authenticity and prevent misuse.
Return / Replacement Process
- Submit your return or replacement request along with the unboxing video via email or WhatsApp.
- Our team will review and verify the video and claim within 1–2 working days.
- Once approved, we’ll initiate a pickup of the product. The pickup agent usually takes 2–3 working days to collect it.
- After successful pickup and inspection, your refund or replacement will be processed within 5–7 working days.
Important Notes
- Products damaged due to improper handling, usage, or modification after delivery are not covered under this policy.
- Make sure to retain the original packaging until your request is fully processed.
